Barra Velha is full of natural beauty, especially because of its 20km of coastline, with a total of 7 beaches along its length. It has a privileged location, close to cities such as Joinville, Balneário Camboriú, Blumenau and Curitiba. The city has just over 30 thousand inhabitants and receives around 100 thousand visitors between the months of December and March. Although it is busier during the height of summer, the rest of the year it is a quiet city that offers peace and quiet to its residents.
